Jordan Neiman is a piano performer and educator in the Cincinnati area. He guides music students through the obstacle course of learning the piano and the piano literature, so they can find personal joy in making music themselves.
Currently working on his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, he moved to Cincinnati from Boston where he completed his master’s degree and was the first prize winner of the Churchill Competition at the Boston Conservatory. Principal teachers and coaches include Awadagin Pratt, Jung-Ja Kim, Clifton Matthews, Paul Schenly, and Markus Placci. Jordan has played recitals around the United States, Canada, and Switzerland.
An experienced teacher, Jordan believes in reaching each student according to their individual goals and learning styles. Piano pedagogy studies have been with Dr. Karen Beres, Max Levinson, and Dr. Michelle Conda.
